Centers & Collaborations

In addition to our academic mission to prepare future professionals in numerous fields, the College of Education offers more. Through five centers of excellence and several initiatives, we extend our professional contributions to advancing knowledge through research, engagement and service.

The emphasis of each center reflects the variety of expertise within the college: literacy, education and its multiple intersections, playground safety, early childhood development. While focused on external partners and communities, these often collaborative enterprises enrich the opportunities and environment for our faculty, students and staff as well.
