Focused on Our Future

Your generosity makes a difference across the College of Education throughout the year. Here are just a few examples:

  • Sponsored series and professional development touching hundreds yearly, including:
    • Carlton-Mellichamp Lecture in Education
    • Bill and Linda Tubbs Teaching Connections
  • The bright, technology-rich renovation of Schindler Education Center
  • Endowed scholarships such as the Sally Gearhart Strottman Memorial Scholarship in Elementary Education, a renewable, competitive award offering $10,000 annually
  • Funding for faculty to represent and present at national conferences, thanks to annual giving donations to the Dean’s Fund for Excellence.
