Majors, Minors & Certificates
With nearly 25 options among the undergraduate majors, minors and certificates, the College of Education offers you choice in two leading areas of emphasis:
- Teacher education: early childhood, elementary education, middle level dual and physical education majors, and minors including literacy education and special education. All part of the leading Teacher Education program.
- Health and human services: options in community, health, nonprofit and professional careers building from a foundation in the multi-faceted recreation, tourism and nonprofit leadership offerings
NOTE: As of July 1, 2023, undergraduate degrees in kinesiology and exercise science, physical education teaching, public health, athletic training and rehabilitation studies; and graduate degrees in kinesiology and sport performance, physical education pedagogy and athletic training moved to the new School of Health and Human Sciences in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences.
