Laurie A. Albert-Conner

Laurie A. Albert-Conner graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree (1984) in Community Health Education, thereafter working as Adult/Pediatric Education Program Director for the American Lung Association of Iowa. She served (1992-2002) the Iowa Health System as market and contract manager, network director and interim chief executive officer while earning a Master of Arts degree (1998) in Public Healthcare Administration from Drake University. She served (2001-2010) as chief executive officer of Dallas County Hospital and as administrator (2010-2014) of Mercy West Lakes Hospital.
Laurie presently serves as President of Ski Medical Center (Catholic Health Initiatives, Mercy Medical Network) in Newton, Iowa and Vice President of Mercy Health Network. She is a graduate of three Leadership Institutes (2002,2003,2007), the American College of Healthcare Executives (Fellow-2009) and the International Coaching Federation (Certified Executive Coach-2016). She served on local, area or state boards of Alzheimer’s Association, Red Cross, Rural Health Association, Mercy Medical Center Foundation; Iowa Hospital Association, YMCA and Mercy College.
