I-Day and Graduate Assistantships

Through a graduate assistantship, you will gain valuable work experience pertinent to your future advancement in student affairs. A variety of assistantships are offered yearly in departments, offices, and programs across the UNI campus.
If you are a newly admitted postsecondary education: student affairs graduate student who meets program criteria, you will be invited to join in on I-Day -- an application and interview process scheduled each February. Full information is part of your acceptance letter.
This year's Interview Day (I-Day) is February 18-19, 2024, and will be held via Zoom. An evening program on Sunday will be followed by interviews on Monday.
