A Wealth of Options
Thanks to generous donors, there are a number of scholarships available for incoming and current undergraduate and graduate students seeking majors or degrees offered through the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. This includes:
Undergraduate
- Nearly 30 donor-funded scholarship for incoming undergraduates (including transfers)
- More than 70 scholarships for current undergraduates
Graduate
- 10 scholarships for C&I graduate students, including the Dean’s Graduate Scholarship awards of up to $1,500
Additional Resources to Support Your Studies
Graduate assistantships are an opportunity to gain experience in your field while working toward your degree. If you are a full-time, on-campus student, you can apply for GA position, pending position availability:
- Literacy education
- Learning technologies & instructional design
- School library studies
- Curriculum and instruction (doctoral program)
If you’re a full-time, on-campus student, you can also apply for a graduate tuition scholarship.

Clinical Internship 2
As a teacher education student, you’re in the field early on, through student teaching your final semester. A major step forward is Internship 2 -- 35 or more hours of hands-on clinical experience in a classroom paired with a methods course -- all contributing to learning while teaching. Your C&I faculty may help coordinate and supervise this step that gets you that much closer to living your dream.
