Involvement Opportunities

A Wealth of Options

Thanks to generous donors, there are a number of scholarships available for incoming and current undergraduate and graduate students seeking majors or degrees offered through the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. This includes:

Undergraduate

  • Nearly 30 donor-funded scholarship for incoming undergraduates (including transfers)
  • More than 70 scholarships for current undergraduates

​Graduate

  • 10 scholarships for C&I graduate students, including the Dean’s Graduate Scholarship awards of up to $1,500

Additional Resources to Support Your Studies

Graduate assistantships are an opportunity to gain experience in your field while working toward your degree.  If you are a full-time, on-campus student, you can apply for GA position,  pending position availability: 

If you’re a full-time, on-campus student, you can also apply for a graduate tuition scholarship.

GETTING HANDS-ON

Level III Field Experience

As a teacher education student, you’re in the field from freshman year through student teaching. A major step forward is Level III--40 hours of hands-on experience in a classroom of your choice. Your C&I faculty help coordinate and supervise this step that gets you that much closer to living your dream.
