Megan Holbach

What drove your interest in your selected discipline? 
I really enjoy helping and serving others, but also love the education side of things. Being able to put all of this together in one of my previous positions within higher education really made me enjoy it all together. I was then able to enhance my leadership skills in my previous position.

What attracted you to UNI and the College of Education? 
I was born and raised in Cedar Falls, and I am an alumna of UNI. After graduation, I always dreamt of working at UNI in some capacity, but I wasn't exactly sure doing what. Being at UNI-CUE, I really had the best of both worlds of serving others while also being able to lead at the same time. When this position opened up, I thought it was a great opportunity for me to not only get to campus, but also put my skills to use along with the passion I have for education.

What experience reinforced why you enjoy what you do? 
Being able to see students succeed no matter what it is they are doing is always so rewarding for me! Creating relationships is also huge for me.
