Dr. Wu-Ying Hsieh is dedicated to advancing the quality and impact of education through research and practice. Dr. Hsieh career began as an elementary school teacher in Taiwan, which inspired her to pursuit teacher education with a focus on Early Childhood Special Education in the United States. Guided by the belief that “the earlier children receive intervention, the better the outcomes,” Dr. Hsieh research examines ways to enhance teaching and learning for young children with diverse needs. Dr. Hsieh committed to integrating research findings into teaching to prepare future educators and promote evidence-based practice in the field.
