What attracted you to UNI and the College of Education?
Moving back to the area for my spouse's career allowed for my career to come full circle. By being back on campus, in Schindler Center, as an instructor is a highlight for any UNI educator alumni.
Describe an experience that reinforces why you do what you do.
Being in special education, you make relationships with some of the most interesting people. From students to families, from staff to support services, all are working toward the same goal of all people being able to reach their highest potential in life. Seeing this come together and students in special education moving through their educational journey to a life beyond is the highest reinforcement of why we do what we do.
