Jaydon Gansen
Graduate Assistant
Jaydon received his B.A. in recreation, tourism, and nonprofit leadership at UNI. He has decided to stay a Panther and continue his education as a graduate student to receive his recreation, tourism, and nonprofit leadership M.A. As an undergraduate student, he worked with UNI Outdoors for three years at the climbing wall and in the gear rental office. He's led trips as an outdoor coordinator to the Needles of Rushmore, Diablo Canyon Ranch, and Yellow River State Forest! He was also the head of the Rocks, Ropes, and Outdoor Living department at Tripp Lake Camp in Maine during the summers of 2021-2024. A goal of his studies is to gain more knowledge about the youth sector and hone in on his interests in RTNL. As a graduate assistant, his primary role is to assist with the RTNL Outdoor Adventure program: promoting trips, training coordinators, and making sure trips run well and are safe and enjoyable for the public. Jaydon will also teach a one-credit rock climbing course in Fall 2024.
