Keynote Bianca Nightengale-Lee, director of the Lewis Walker Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnic Relations at Western Michigan University, will present on topics which reflect the theme of the Science of Reading.  

This event will have an evening keynote presentation by Nightengale-Lee on Thursday, February 27, exploring "Teaching Literacy Fearlessly: How to Get Into 'Good Trouble' for the Literacy Future of All Students," open to the public, UNI students and faculty practicing teachers and teacher leaders. Focused breakout sessions follow the morning of Friday, February 28.
