What attracted you to UNI and the College of Education?
I had many opportunities to interact with faculty members of UNI and was impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, and work ethic. Knowing the school psychology faculty and the quality of the program they created attracted me to the program.
Describe an experience that reinforces why you enjoy what you do.
Every time I get to work with a student and see the light go on for them, in terms of understanding a concept and watching them be able to apply that in the work they do with students, is so gratifying and reinforces why I do what I do.
What drove your interest in your selected discipline?
I knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children/students, and school psychology was the perfect match for me.
