Maxine Davis received her bachelor’s degree from Wartburg College. She was named program administrator for the EdD program in 2025, where she facilitates daily operations of the doctoral program, including course scheduling, faculty coordination, academic policies, student outcomes assessment (SOAs) and academic program review (APRs), and helps support the program and its faculty with continued alignment with The Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED). She also serves as a liaison with prospective and current students, oversees program-related events and collaborates with UNI’s College of Graduate, Research and Online Education on retention and academic support.
Prior to her role with the Office of Graduate Studies and Research, she served as director of the Instructional Resources and Technology Services (IRTS) for more than 30 years, located in Schindler Education Center. As director, she provided UNI students, faculty and area educators with a facility in which to examine, evaluate and implement current curricular resources.
Maxine enjoys getting to assist students by giving them tools, knowledge and support to succeed.
