Social Studies Minor

Do you love social studies and want to translate that into your teaching?

With the social studies K-8 teaching minor, you’ll learn how to teach social science disciplines such as history, geography, economics, political science and psychology to elementary and middle school students. This flexible minor option gives you a well-rounded knowledge of each discipline and, after completing the minor, you have met requirements for a Social Studies K-8 endorsement. Pursue your passion and become a social studies education leader and advocate by adding on this minor.
