Health Education Minor

Become endorsed in school health education and increase your value as a future educator.

The inclusion of health concepts in K-12 curriculum has become more and more common. It’s more beneficial than ever to seek this additional knowledge and education. The school health education minor is a perfect addition for any teaching major looking to become endorsed in teaching health education through the Iowa Department of Education.

Through this minor, you'll not only become qualified for endorsement, but also become first aid and CPR-certified before student teaching. Show prospective employers that you care about health education and are certified to teach it!
