Information for Parents - Resources to Assist Your Student

We recognize and appreciate the important role you play in the life of your student, and we understand the positive impact the partnering with parents can have on a student's experience.  Therefore, we wanted to provide you with a list of campus resources that are available to assist your student(s) during their tenure at UNI.  It is our hope that our dynamic partnership with you can help support and encourage your student(s) to have the best educational experience possible.

We have divided campus resources into the four categories below.  If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please email the Registrar's Office for assistance or phone them at 319-273-2241.



Imagine that after much anticipation, your student receives his or her transcript.  Excitedly, they begin to review it, but in the process, find themselves saying, "What does that funny looking symbol mean?" or "An NR grade....what's that?"  There is information available to help decipher that transcript.
