What drove your interest in your selected profession?
Even as a college student, I have enjoyed assisting with study skills, planning classes, and helping students succeed. I knew that I wanted to continue working with college students as they work toward their goals!

What attracted you to UNI and the College of Education?
UNI and the College of Education have a great reputation for student support and success. In my previous position, I worked with some COE students and loved seeing their passion and excitement for learning

Why do you enjoy what you do?
In my first position, I worked with a student that faced a lot of personal and academic challenges. Every semester this student wanted to quit and stop attending school, but never did. They faced each challenge head on and would seek out support. After five years, the student became the first in their family to graduate college! Being able to witness and support their journey is one of the most satisfying experiences in my life. I love being able to see students overcome challenges to reach their goals!
