What drove your interest in your selected discipline? *=
With over 20 years of management experience in the nonprofit sector, the ability to use my professional skills coupled with my academic skills is what attracted me to the R.J. McElroy Professorship in Nonprofit Management and Youth Leadership. 

Why do you enjoy what you do? 
I am passionate about teaching, research and service because I am a giver by nature. I love the feeling I get from helping people and communities move in a positive direction and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to contribute to finding solutions to some of the most challenging problems at local to global levels.

What is your teaching philosophy? 
Students first. 

What do you hope students learn from you?
To be a global citizen and to give back.
