What attracted you to UNI and the College of Education?
The main reason I wanted to come back to join the Child Development Center was because I enjoyed teaching at the center when I was working towards my undergrad. The knowledge that I gained from that experience prepared me for my next steps. The teachers that are on staff at the center are among the best educators I have ever known. I wanted to work along side them to learn and grow as an educator.

Describe an experience that reinforced why you enjoy what you do.  
Living in Haiti for two years and learning about the great need for education is one experience that has reinforced why I enjoy what I do. Haiti has a special place in my heart and my experiences in Haiti are the reason I am an educator. I enjoy learning and growing from those experiences. I appreciate both the challenges and the joys of all aspects of education.
